Download PocketLord from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android). Your landlord or letting agent will send you an invitation email with a link. Tap the link to create your account, or open the app and sign in with the credentials provided.

Once signed in, you'll see your dashboard. This shows your property address, your landlord or agent's contact details, and any recent activity such as maintenance updates or new messages. This is your home screen — everything starts here.

Tap the Maintenance tab, then "Report Issue". Select a category (plumbing, electrical, heating, etc.), write a description of the problem, and add photos. For gas or fire safety issues, you'll see important safety instructions. Once submitted, your landlord or agent is notified immediately.

All your maintenance requests appear in the Maintenance tab. Tap any request to see its full history: status updates, notes from your landlord, and any communication with suppliers. You'll receive notifications when the status changes.

Find your tenancy agreements, inspection reports, and other important documents in the Documents section. Your landlord or agent can share documents with you directly through the app. You can view and download them at any time.

Navigate to Tenants and tap "Add Tenant". Enter their name and email address, then select which property they belong to. They'll receive an invitation email with a link to download the app and create their account.

When your tenant reports a maintenance issue, you'll be notified immediately. The request appears in your Maintenance tab with the category, description, photos, and priority level. Everything is documented automatically.

Update the status of maintenance requests (In Progress, Awaiting Parts, Completed). Add internal notes, and forward issues directly to suppliers or tradespeople via email. Their replies appear in the communication history automatically.
